With medical products, it is used to test the isolation capabilities of isolated patient connections. With telecom products, it is applied to telephone network connections to verify that the overall product leakage current does not exceed the limit.

Safety features include line isolation, a voltage applied warning lamp, safety banana jacks, and an output current limiter

Input and output voltage ranges from 90-264 VAC without having to change a range switch

A separate set of output jacks is provided for connecting an external output monitoring meter

Meets Requirements for Testing Standard(s) including but not limited to:IEC 60601
